An authentic and engaging experience discovering Umbria’s black gold alongside- expert truffle hunters and their trained dogs. Guided by an expert, guests venture into truffle ground and forest to learn about the tradition, biology and harvesting of truffles, enjoyng a full immersion in the nature and culture of the region.
The experience begins with a welcome toast to break the ice and introduce the day’s adventure, followed by approximately 40 minutes of truffle hunting complete with practical explanations and intriguing insights about this precious local delicacy.
At the end of the hunt, a tasting of typical dishes featuring the truffles collected is offered,, a convivial moment where guests can savor the day’s harvest in a charming and relaxed setting.
